List of ingredients of Andalucian Gazpacho recipe:

  • 2 kg (4.40 lbs) ripe tomatoes,
  • 1 green pepper,
  • 2 garlic cloves,
  • One handful of breadcrumbs from vinegar-soaked bread,
  • 2 dl (7 fl oz) Its more than 1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil,
  • Water,
  • Salt
  • Optional: Very tiny dice of cucumber, pepper, onion and hard-boiled egg, or ham and fried bread.

 

 

 

Preparation of Andalucian Gazpacho recipe:

  • Put all the ingredients except the water in the bowl of a mixer.
  • Beat them together into a fine purée,
  • Then pass the mixture through a cheesecloth and add cool water to taste.
  • Then you can add a salsa of chopped onion, cucumber, pepper, hard-boiled egg and tomato, or chunks of Serrano ham and fried bread. Or don’t add anything and drink it out of a glass any time of day.
