List of ingredients of the traditional Greek Salad recipe or Horiátiki salata:

 

  • 1 tomato
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1 slice feta cheese
  • ½ onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • Black  olives
  • 2-3 tbs extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt
  • Oregano

 

Preparation of the traditional Greek salad recipe:

  • Wash the vegetables well and cut them into small pieces.
  • Mix on a plate and add the feta, olives and oil.
  • Season with salt and the salad is ready.
  • A little oregano can also be scattered over the feta, for a stronger flavour.
